Gayle & family,
I have never met you but have known your father for over 3 years. I own the dollar store just a couple of blocks from his apartment. I have to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed his daily visits! Even if he didn't need anything, he would stop in and ask how I was. He always called me "kid". A few times he would bring me lunch, always stopping by in the morning to let me know what time the chuckwagon would be coming! He was a character and I enjoyed him very much....
