My siblings and I grew up with our mother faithfully listing to Bob every day. One day my mothers radio gave out and my little brother ran into the kitchen and asked mom, "Mom what happened to the man who sounds like a butterfly"? What a fine memory of such a beloved a gentle soul. Missed but never forgotten!

Bob Barth was one of the most special friends. He was kind, generous and truly practiced his religion. I had the deepest respect and admiration for him. Also, he was a terrific radio host. We should have more like him. I send my prayers to his family.

What a wonderful individual, everyone's friend. I still have a recording of him on cassette on KVSF that I play from time to time to be with my buddy again. Tammy & Kevine you can always be very proud of your DAD. He is an icon in Santa Fe.
