Love you BiG Guy No better Man Hath God Made

M.L.: When I didn't hear from you at Christmas and your card was returned to me, I realized something was wrong. I am so sorry to read about Bob's passing. Know you're in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Barb VanDeVusse

Bob was such a positive influence on our lives, larger than life itself and always made us laugh. He's now on a cruise ship in heaven sharing a beer, entertaining God and everyone else, watching out for his beloved Mary Lu along with his entire family, friends and all the acquaintances he met throughout his lifetime. Rest in peace Bob and have a beer for us! Bob & Debi Nichols

Bob was a fun guy and great to be around! Between Michigan and Arizona, Steve and I enjoyed many times with him and MariLu. We were blessed to have known him and he is greatly missed. xx

I had the distinct honor and privilege of getting to work with Mr. Barth at Printing Services for several years. Bob was always quick with a joke and fun to work with. He would spoil us with his cooking. He was always very generous with his friends. There are a million things that come to mind when I think of Bob, but what stood out to me was the love for his family and life. Bob definitely loved experiencing life and was a great storyteller. The many stories he told about his travels...

Bob was my brother-in-law for part of my life. We were also good friends. Bob was a good one to make you laugh. Saying the right thing at the right time. I know Bob enjoyed his retirement, always on the move. While not totally retired he had his library job. He would act silly and complain about his library job, right, not really. He loved every minute. He loved talking about it and having a few laughs at the same time. I was envious. I was sad to see Bob pass and I will miss him. Peace be...

Condolences to Bob's Family and Friends. I worked for the MDP ( google) for couple of years, met Bob on the loading dock of the Grad.library of UofM.You could count on him to have a smile on his face,& He would always have something funny to tell me from life itself and about his job. This was truly a Good Man. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Bob grew up down the street from us. We played in the streets until the street lights came on. It was a time when kids were kids and we rarely knew anyone with a fatal illness. Always one of the nicest people. Condolences.

I am a high school classmate of Bob's. I didn't know him well in high school but got to know him a bit more in recent years, connecting through FB. What a wonderful human being. A sad loss for all of us that knew him.
