Basel, Robert Thomas age 84, of Brooklyn Center died peacefully at his home on Dec- ember 7, 2007. He had a love of life that touched all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Marion of 61 years; daughters, Gerry (Gary) Olson and Susan (Kevin) Fair; son, Thomas (Chris); grandchildren, Andrew, Kerri, Heidi, Nick, Justin, and Christana; great-grandchildren, Austin, Mari, Wyatt, Kelsey, Brady, Easton and Alexis; brother, Thomas. He was also given the gift of a life long friendship with Vincent Blau and William LaFerriere. Funeral Service 11:30 AM Tuesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 West Broadway in Brooklyn Park. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Monday at the Evans- Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Center. Prayer Service 7:30 PM Monday. Reviewal at church one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
