Knowing Bob is to know a friend, a dedicated person, a leader, a scholar, a volunteer, a doer of good deeds, an example and a team player. Dr. Bashore was a true gentleman. I worked for him a while at CVCC while his secretary was out with a long-term illness. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone, and he was always kind and gracious to all. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family...he was a gem!
