Robert Bau Ph.D.

As an alumnus of U S C, fellow
researcher in the same discipline,
long time associations since his
joining U S C as a faculty, and fellow
member of American Crystallographic Association my heartfelt condolences
to Prof. Bau's wife, Margret Churchill,
and his children. The untimely passing
will be felt in many ways and at many
venues.

His contributions to U S C are worthy
of emulation.
