Pastor Beard was a very special person and we have many special memories with him. First of all I was a part time secretary during my high school years. He married us 52 years ago at St.Paul´s in Startown. Pastor Beard will always have a special place in our hearts. Condolences to the family.

So sorry for your loss. The family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I remember him so well. He gave me my first communion. My mother, Annie Gregg, were members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Startown when he pastored there. Heaven now has one amazing angel.
