Robert A. "Bob" Behmer

I was sorry to hear of Dr. Behmer's passing. He was our family Dr. for 20 + years. He delivered my first daughter. He was more than a Dr. He was also a friend. Everyone loved him.

I was greatly saddened when I heard of Dr. Behmer's passing. Condolences to out to all who love him and a big thank you to his family for sharing him with all of us!!! He and my partner, Dr. Strutzenberg brought me to Winnebago 21 years ago. I am blessed to know Dr Behmer as a mentor, father figure, and friend. I am saddened to see this obituary. Dr. Behmer s my doctor as well as both my children, he will be greatly missed. I remember just after I had my oldest child, we were in for her 2 week check up, and he placed her sitting in his hand and walked to show Mary Ellen how she was sitting by herself. Bob helped out Blackhawk Valley Region of Sports Car Club of America several times in the 1970s by serving as race physician for our events at Blackhawk Farms. He was a good guy, always quick to laugh. Sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

Dr. Behmer delivered both my children and was our family's physician. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a compassionate doctor and a friend. So many memories of his smile, comforting words and expert diagnosis. He will not be forgotten by my family.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Behmers passing. He was my parents and my sisters doctor. He defiantly was a loved man.
