It seems like yesterday I met Bob in Des Moines for the weekend of relaxation. The first thing we would do is go the the batting cage. On one occasion I accidentally broke his favorite bat. We joked about that many times over the years. Many long phone calls, great conversations. Truly a great individual ! Great friend, sadly missed.
