Fran, so sorry to hear about Robert. He was a great friend and ATO brother. He was really one of a kind, always ready with a kind work or crazy joke. Carol called and let me know about your loss. Please stay in touch concerning his memorial service. Love and blessings always, Buddy

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. I worked with Robert at SCAD and my husband I were blessed to attend for many years a life group Bible study he led through our church! He was also the pastor who officiated one of our daughter´s marriage. He also spoke at my father´s funeral! He was a wonderful man and our family will always remember him and miss him.

Fran I remember meeting you years ago at Mercer when you were my sister Nancy´s roommate . You were a very kind person and I was glad Nancy could room with you. I am sorry for your loss, and I pray that our compassionate God, rich in mercy , will comfort and strengthen you in the days to come until the time we all meet again at the feet of the Savior. Robert and I grew up together we were friends and teammates through high school. He was a fierce competitor in every sport he played and all of Southwest was proud of him when he made the major leagues. I was unaware but not surprised to learn that he served in the 82 airborne. I am confident he served with distinction. Robert along with David Glover, David Sitton and John Burger made up the best basketball team Southwest ever put on the floor. I trust his memory is a blessing to his family,...

Fran, my sweet, fun and smart Mercer roommate, I am so very sorry to hear of Robert´s passing. I extend my sincere sympathy to you and your family. God bless and hold each of you. Nancy Horne Myers
