Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Bentall. I have many fond memories of him as a committed, compassionate, wonderful Sunday School teacher at West Vancouver Baptist church who demonstrated special interest in his students. He was always so cheerful, friendly and caring. He will be greatly missed.Condolences to all the family.

I am the Chairman of a Street Children's project located in Nakuru, Kenya called Street Children Assistance Network of Nakuru (SCANN). SCANN provides needy, destitute street children with shelter, food, clothing, healthcare and education to all its 150 children.

I have learnt with great sorrow about Bob Bentall's peaceful passing away.

Bob Bentall, through Cedar Foundation came into our lives and the lives of our 150 children aged from 3 to 20 years 10...

I am one of the current 151 former street children being provided food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education by SCANN – Street Children Assistance Network of Nakuru. My father is blind and my mother does casual jobs to earn a living. I would go to the streets of Nakuru and eat from the bins as my family was living from hand to mouth. I wanted to go to school but we could not afford. SCANN came to my rescue in 2002 and I have been under the full care of SCANN since then.

The...

I am one of the more than 135 former street children rehabilitated, educated and now living independent life through SCANN-Street Children Assistance Network of Nakuru. I was born of a single mother who could not afford to take care of me and my siblings. I then became a street boy and was picked up by SCANN. I was under full care of SCANN for 10yrs. The Bentalls have been partners with SCANN and have provided absolutely all educational requirements. Thanks to the Bentalls, I hold a Diploma...

I worked with Bentall group for almost 8 years, back in 1994. Bentall was my very first company I've worked with since I came to Canada. It was a blessing to work with. I've learned a lot of things too. Through Bentall, that's were I built my confidence to talk to people...Mr. Bentall was a friendly man (owner). as I remember, every time he will see you in the elevator or on the wall way - he always say, "how's your day? hope you enjoying working here at Bentall". and He always...

If only there were more people like Bob, the world would be a better place indeed. Bob was considered by many to have led a fortunate life, but he created that by hard work and tenacity. I first worked with him at Bentall Corporation and watched as he methodically worked towards the goals he had for his company, and he then applied his corporate skills and ethics to his charitable foundation. He worked day and night and he had a AMAZING PASSION for the work he did. No task was too big for...

I was truly sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I worked directly under Bob from 1960 to 1980 and considered him to be a good friend and mentor during those years. He was an outstanding example of honesty and integrity in the development industry, and indeed in the entire business community. I have him to thank for his guidance in furthering my engineering career. I offer my sincere condolences to his family for their loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Bentall family as you mourn the passing of a great father, grandfather and mentor for thousands of young people around the world. He will be sadly missed by many but leaves such an enormous legacy behind him. His candle will never burn out.
