Robert Benyon

I served with Bob in Vietnam on two occasions, and on both he was instrumental in orchestrating transfers from Bien Hoa Air Base (1968) and Danang Air Base (1971) to Tan Son Nhut Air Base, both of which had huge impacts on my life. The first enable me to return to South Vietnam to marry my wife, and the second resulted in a most wonderful reunion with her for the Tet family celebration of 1971. I had no idea that Bob had passed away! I am here in China and am writing a book about my romance and marriage to my wife Trang, and Bob played a key role twice in making it happen. I had been trying to locate him, and then discovered his obituary. Devastating! He was a fine man who always went out of his way to assist and love others. God bless his legacy!

Benyon was always the kindest, most patient of people. he helped train me when I started work in Logistics and was one of the best ever. all of his former co-workers here in ISC Logistics will miss him greatly. I know I will.
