Not sure what to say?

Peter,
I thought we'd all be going to the mountain top this summer.
Will you already be there when we reach the top? Will the sun be your bright smile? The breeze we feel, will that be you touching us? The sounds we hear, will that be you playing music for us?
It really doesn't matter where we are, because you will always be there with us. You are: us!!!
We'll miss you always!
Love,
Gail, John (henry belisle) and Sonya (daddy's girl)

Pete, we went to the mountain top, but when I turned you were gone. You left your music, your laughter, and your friendship behind; and I will keep them until I see you again. Now on the mountain there is only wind. We miss you.
Glenn

It's been a while, but Shorts Bar and the Ocean Grove All-Stars feel like yesterday right now! I can't believe time has passed so quickly and I can't believe you're gone, but Pete, you'll always be a song in my heart, and I'm "so proud of being loved by you". Anyone who's life has been touched by you has walked away with a smile and the feeling that they're lucky to have met you. We should all take a chapter from your book on life, especially the one that says laugh loud and often! JP and I...

My first friend Pete:We will miss you and your suprise visits up from Florida. We had our times we had the 60's and the 70's what a time I had,I had my friend. When people talk about Route 6 Slim or Pete the Beat I'll know they too were fortunate to meet the man so full of music, full of song and so full of life. You touched the hearts of everyone you met, and we are gratefull to have been your friend. Our prayers and our thoughts are with you and your family.

We too will miss Peter. This was very sad news to hear last week! Whenever Peter visited back home, everyone wanted to see him. Understanding that he couldn’t see everyone all the time – we delighted in the times he could. Although we didn’t get to see him in recent years, we will remember the good old days. Peter would do anything for a laugh. We will always remember . . . late night breakfast at Bickfords (drum sticks included), happy-hour(s) at the B Iron; and speaking pig Latin for nearly...

As much as I know down in my heart that you are truely in peace, in the arms of Our Lord, how hard it is for this earth bound gal to have never had the chance to say good-bye and so until we meet again, I will remember your bear hug, your loving eyes and your friendship and love. When I want to be close to you I will pray, for that was always our connection. I have great memories to take with me the rest of my life as does anyone who ever knew Petey, Pete the Beat, Peter, JOE. Love Always,...

Uncle Peter - I miss you more than you could ever know. I know the last thing you would want is to have everyone in mourning .. but not having your goofy face around makes it that much harder to be happy. I know you are happy , hanging out with all your friends from the band , and Marie. But I just wish I had that last chance to say goodbye.
Lasalette and cheese pizza will never be the same without you. :D

I love you so much - never , ever forget it.

I will miss Pete The Beat dearly. He was a talented musician, a fabulous friend and an all around wonderful man. This is a tremendously sad loss for everyone who ever had the honor of meeting him. God rest his beautiful soul.

Pete - I just heard the news today. I still can't believe it. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with you and been your friend. God took you from us too soon, but then he seems to take all the great musicians before their time. I will miss you and never forget you.
