Not sure what to say?

Bob was indeed a great guy. On one of our golf trips to Florida Bob got me hooked on classical music. The four tennors were on TV and and Bob brought that to my attention. I have been hooked since. He will be missed.

Bob Berles was an intelligent, caring, decent Christian man. The world is a little better for his having lived with us. I am very glad to have known him and my time with him on the golf course is treasured. My sympathies to his family and especially Jerry and Bill. I look forward to seeing him again in God's time.

Bill Bremer

I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Berles as my godfather. He was a godfather by action as well as title, giving me true guidance and support all my life. Every year, one of my favorite Christmas rituals was opening his card and reading the wonderful notes he always included. He was a very special man who will be greatly missed.

We were sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We enjoyed our annual visits with him in Grand Rapids and Florida. Warmly, Mary (Berles) and Les Lindsay

I was so sorry to read of Bob's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his Berles family. Bob was a masterful storyteller and a significant contributor to the Droste family history book.

Mr. Berles, together with Mr. Balice, was my boss at the Dept. of Corrections years ago. He was a wonderful person, full of warmth and love for his wife, and he will be missed.

Bob was a good friend and godfather to our youngest daughter Julie. He will have a joyous Christmas with Gerrie in Heaven. Condolences to Patty and family.

I had the privlege of knowing Bob for most of my adult life. He was a true gentleman and an outstanding Christian. My sincere condolences to to his large family, especially my good friend and his brother, Bill. I will miss the long and enlightening telephone conversations a couple times a year. May he rest in peace.
