Dear Hillary, Paula and I want to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Although we saw Rob on a few occasions in Atlanta, he was so full of life and always shared his love and appreciation for you and your children. Getting to know Rob was a pleasure and really miss the opportunity to get to know you as well. While talking to Rob and expressing how Paula and I loved the TV show "Northern Exposure", Rob told us that if we ever get to Seattle that he would show us the town...

"Dear Hilary and family as well as Ellen, Dan and Mrs. Bernstein (as I knew her), Rob was one of my best friends in middle and High School at David Douglas HS. To Rob's family: I'm so sorry to hear about Rob's death. Rob and I went to high school together and have been friends ever since. We have talked on the phone a few times over the years and each time we did was wonderful. Rob and I played basketball together growing up and had a lot of fun. We were even on the Golden Ball championship team. He and I would joke about our special "bond" - both with initials RB and both born on June 2, 1953. I loved his sense of humor and quick wit.
