Sad to learn of Bob's passing. Lots of time has flown. We lived in Avon, too. We were colleagues at United Technologies in the 80s during a period of difficult transitions. I can still picture Bob and Lorraine when we joined Harry Gray and his wife at a function at the Waldorf in New York. Following my own departure from UTC we kept in touch and Bob and Lorraine visited Barb and me in Toronto in the early 90s. Glad to know they fared so well for so many years, he beyond Lorraine's passing....

What a tremendous loss for all of us. The first thing we knew about Bob was how seriously he took his role as loving husband to Lorraine. His kindness and tender patience warmed our hearts. After losing Lorraine, Bob spent all his energy serving his fellow residents at VKP. The consummate gentleman, Bob acted as a leader, a guide and a true friend to any and all. Deb, Bobby and Suzie- I was sad to read this. From the ski trips in the camper up to VT to the look on his face when he saw my car in the middle of the garage, taking out the center post and one unopened garage door. He finally forgave me (I think) when he and I replaced the engine in your moms Pinto. Condolences to all, Hooper
