Not sure what to say?

John Parsons and I(Jo Ann Frankel) loved spending time with Bob and loved being with him at the lake. I still think of those memories often. I am surprised to see that Bob passed on my birthday-July 17, I had forgotten this . John passed in 2014, and I'm quite sure Bob and John have found each other again!! Sending love to the family.

For Captain Bob,
"Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,

I never met Captain Bob. My uncle Captain Ron spoke highly of him. It sounded like he was a great man and Captain. My deepest sympathies to all.

My Captain, My Captain, My 2nd Father....Your passing has left a deep sea nearly empty as I weep for my brothers family and our loss. We fill it again quickly with our tears and fond memories of him as he coached and guided us from our youths...A wonderful man, rarely seen without a smile and always inviting. You have left us with many treasured memories and my greatest treasure from you, your son, my only brother. For he has become a Captain for his boys. May your light shine down on us...

To my uncle and all the family. Some of the fondest memoires of my childhood are of Uncle Bob and Uncle Paul and all of us cousins! My deepest sympathies to all

Captain, my Captain you will always be timeless in our thoughts and memories. We will miss you and all the wonderful times we had on Lake Norman. We cherish Sinbad for all the memories that you and Sinbad have given to us. You will always be her Captain.

We will miss Bob's happy smile and his lively conversation. A great loss to the Bernard's family, indeed.

Bob was a good friend to all of us at Bernard's Landing. He will be greatly missed and we extend our sympathy to his friends and family.
