Robert Michael Betz

We first met Michael and Cathy at the Slovenian Club, just a few short years ago. Our friendship was fairly new and just beginning. We played Ballina/Bocce together and had a fun time. Cathy and I would be giggling alot and Michael would tell us no giggling, which only made us giggle more.We enjoyed a couple of other outings together and always had a great time. Rest in peace Michael, we will always remember the good times we shared with you and Cathy.

I just found out today that Michael has passed. My deepest sympathies go out to Cathy and his family. I am thankful that I got to see Michael before his return to Saint Augustine. I have had many last goodbyes, but that was a hard one, Michael wasn´t just my friend. He was my buddy. I was fortunate enough to be mentored by Michael at Deepwood when I first started at ARC. We worked together for 30 years at Deepwood. Mike was one of groomsman at my wedding in 1988 at St Noel´s. I worked with him in his horticultural job´ Plantright´! Back in Fairport during Browns season with the Cardiac Kids, we would salute with a shot when s TD was scored. All the while shouting "SHOTENHIMER!" Who was the coach.
