Not sure what to say?

Patty Hughes & Family: I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. My deepest sympathy lies with you and your family. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Dear Pat and family,
As a member of the Edward A. Walsh scholarship committee at Fordham, I got to know Bob quite well. So did all of the scholarship winners we honored: The highlight of each luncheon for them was Bob standing up in front of the group and telling a story about Ed Walsh being such a terrific mentor for him and his fellow classmates. It didn't matter that Ed Walsh stopped teaching way before they were born; they listened in rapt attention to Bob's story, smiling as if they...

Dear Pat and family,

I just learned of Bob's passing and wish to offer to you and the family sincere condolences. I enjoyed singing along with him in the choir at OLBS and sharing Fordham U.stories. Bob was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I never met anyone who was so accomplished, selfless and devoted to the causes in which he firmly believed. You are all so very blessed to have him always close in your hearts.

Sincerely,
Elaine and Bob Byrne

Brian and Family, I was sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May happy memories help ease your pain.

Dear Mrs. Beusse and Family,

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Mr. Beusse's generosity and kindness. He was a mentor to me during my time at Fordham, as part of the Glee Club. It was an honor to sing the Alma Mater for him today at the funeral. In fact, between the nine of us who sang, our graduation classes spanned 50 years, from 1955 to 2005. I know how proud he is right now.
He is one of the first faces that comes to mind when I think of Rose Hill and I will always...

Dear Pat-
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was such a generous man and my son Tim was very fond of him. His generosity to the Ramblers continues even after his death!
Sincerely,
Kathy Walter

Dear Mrs Beusse and Family: I just wanted to add my sincere condolences upon hearing of Bob's passing. I served with Bob as a member of the general staff while assigned to Hq 50th Armored Division, NJ Army National Guard at the East Orange NJ Armory, during the Post Korea Era and I feel it was a blessing and a privilige to serve with him. Sincerely, Frank L Carlone, COL AUS Retired

Jackie:

Maureen and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother, Bob.

Our thoughts go back so many years ago to New York City and 144th Street and Bob's laughter when he dealt with us younger guys and gals. He was someone special and we will remember him with fondness in our daily prayers.

We know this is a terribly painful time for you and we pray that you will be comforted by the certainty that Bob is with his Lord and probably, at this very moment, in the...

Dear Pat and Family
I recall Bob from my Fordham days in the Journalism Department and professor Ed Walsh's "discussions" in Roberts Hall basement. He was always a gentleman and a darn good writer. I hope he joined the Lord's PR staff as soon as he entered the gates of heaven. He would of liked that.
