My sweet Uncle- I never knew of all your accolades and accomplishments of military service. I only learned of them now, after your passing. You, who were always confident yet, humble. Always of quick wit and humor. You are missed by all who loved you. Rest in Peace Warrior, your bride awaits you. Love you!

My deepest condolences to the Bilz family, and especially to Bobi, as you mourn the loss of your father.

So sorry for this loss of a wonderful man. As you grieve remember he meant so much to so many. It was a pleasure knowing and working with him for many years and seeing him in the halls of Ireland Army Hospital and as the Commander of Chapter 156. May God hold him in his hand and keep him safe until we meet again.

Another of the greatest generation has passed on to Fiddler's Green. We will sing to him, "The Parting Glass" in his honor and memory.

You weren't my grandfather my blood, but you were very much "Grandpa" to me. Thank you for all you did for me, your family, your Nation. It's not the motto of your generation of Army, but you truly were "Army Strong" until the end. Love you, Dan. Hooah!
