Mr Bishop was my class teacher at the International School of Tanganyika in Dar es Salaam, and I remember him with gratitude and respect as a an excellent teacher as well as my mentor at a crossroad in life.

Bob was a fine gentlemen. He was cheerful and positive. Speaking to him was always a pleasure. John Hill , class of 1958.

Godspeed to Bob, and may peace be will his family and loved ones.

Bob Bishop was an outstanding educator and fine gentlemen. It was a pleasure to know him. He was an expert in English literature who particularly loved poetry. May he rest in peace.

A tried gentleman and scholar who taught me so much, at EA, and I will be forever grateful for his presence in my life. He´s Bob to many but always Mr. Bishop to me. Sending much love to Mrs. Bishop and the entire family.

The picture of `Robert Bishop´ is the epitome of my wonderful neighbor, `Bob´. He was such a delight to see while out doing yard work or taking a walk. Always up for a chat. He was a treasure in our neighborhood and will be missed. With much love to the family, my thoughts are with you.

I had the privilege of having Mr. Bishop as my English teacher twice in high school. He had a calming presence and truly cared about his students sharing in his passion for learning. Though brief, his presence in my life made a large impact. I'll never forget his advice before the SATs: "Take your time, read the question twice, and when all else is lost, make a pretty pattern." Sending prayers of comfort to Mr. Bishop's family.

Bob was a living, lasting reminder to never mistake kindness for weakness. My sincerest condolences to Sally and his entire family.

Bob was a special kind man. We will miss him forever. Ann
