Not sure what to say?

My father, Joe Miles, was Bob´s high school baseball coach in the 50´s at Shawnee High School in Louisville, Ky. In 1964, as my dad took a Teaching/Coaching (Football) position at Corydon Central high School in Corydon, Indiana, Bob became one of my father´s assistant coaches. I got to know Bob for the next three years before I left for college. Bob moved to St.Pete and my parents moved to Sarasota where they renued there friendship. I remember spending time there with Bob fishing off the...

Bob was an all-around good guy. Thank you for all you did. It was a pleasure working with you. You are greatly missed.

Bob coached football with my dad, Bill Kleier. They had great respect for one another. I know both are in God´s hands, but both will be long remembered and deeply missed.

I am very saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I send my heartfelt sympathy to the family and wishes for comfort and peace during this difficult time. Bob was such a kind and giving person who did so much for so many... a wonderful person. May he rest in peace. ~ Di Birmingham

Being a fellow State Farm agent with Bob, I have some good old memories. One being Cowboy Bob trying to teach me to line dance decades back, another being an overnight fishing trip to the Keys where we flew his plane down and back and I got some stick time. RIP Bob!

I met Bob in the '60s, when he came to work in the Group Sales department of Sun Life of Canada, and then followed his progress through Banker's Insurance and the State Farm in the '70s, when he became my agent. When State Farm cancelled our Homeowners and commercial buildings policies several years ago, we drifted apart, but I still remember many laughs we had together. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the Bixler Family for the loss of your loved one, Robert Carl, and pray God gives you comfort, peace and strength during this difficult time.
