Not sure what to say?

Bob Blaha owned a Volkswagen Carmen Ghia that Bob taught me to drive while I was in highschool. He graduated from Lee highschool the same year as my brother Kenneth Snyder. Bob was an older friend to me. I graduated from Lee in 1974. Bob's photographic memory for foods he ate was incredible! I'm sorry to see that he passed. I wanted to reconnect with him some time but sorry to say it never happened. I believe his brother was John Blaha, the astronaut but I never confirmed it. Does anyone know...

I was sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I first met Robert at Texas A&M, where he was a student in a class I was helping teach. Just a few years later, we worked together in the NWS office in Jackson, MS. He was always calm, easy-going, and a genuine pleasure to be around.

I went to Texas A&M with Robert and attended many meteorology classes with him (Robert was TAMU class of 1976). I also worked with Robert for 7 years at the San Antonio National Weather Service Forecast Office. He was one of the most pleasant and knowledgeable people I worked with in my 33 year career with the NWS. He was also one of the nicest people I ever met. He would be so proud of the message from KKYX news (below). Til we meet again, my friend.

Prayers to the family. I met Robert several years ago at Christus Santa Rosa where he would come and swim. He always stopped by my desk and would give me forecast for the day. May he rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathies to the Blaha family. Robert was such a wonderful person. My wife and I had many great conversations with Robert on Riviera St. in Castle Hills. Jon and Donna Baros Osborne

My sincere condolences to the family. Bob was very nice, extremely smart and always helpful. We shared many years of homeroom and classes in school. A few years back we shared the same physical therapist. Another time he got the approval and took the time to talk with my nephews about schooling and everyday life in meteorology. Bob was always a person of integrity and honor. I'm thankful we all had you as a friend, you brought us all a little sunshine. You ran the race well, rest in peace...

Our prayers and sympathy for the loss of Robert Blaha. May all of the Blaha family find peace and comfort in loving memories of Robert.

Sorry to hear about Roberts passing. We had a good talk about the old days at Robert E.Lee Mini Reunion. He was a great guy. My condolences to the family. Rest in Peace. Rodney Anderson Class of '72
