Not sure what to say?

R.I.P. Mr Blake. My Scout leader.

To me, Mr. Blake was larger than life, someone who made you want to take whatever gifts God gave you and make the most of them, just as he did. I was one aimless kid when I joined Troop 766 and he and some other great leaders like Mr. Bill Downs taught me a great deal. Rest in Peace Mr. Blake...everyone you touched became better for the experience.

I echo Sean's sentiments. Beaver influenced the lives of hundreds of young boys in the Bridgeton community in the 70s. He also influenced a lot of our fathers through his involvement in scout leadership training programs. Personally, Beaver may have been the biggest non-parent influence in my life. I followed his lead into Naval Aviation and in actively working in youth activities. May he rest in peace and may his family know that he was a gift not only to them but to a much larger...

I knew Beaver through Master's Swimming. He was always fun to be around. We miss him at all of the Senior Olympic and Master Swim Meets where he holds many records. He was a great man and I am glad that his long ordeal is over and he can rest in peace.

A good friend and fellow worker. Beaver always had a smile on his face and a very good person to hold a converstion with about work, flying and sports.

I knew Bob (Beaver) through his masters swimming. He was a great man, swimmer and friend. My condolences to his family. He is in a far better place. May he rest in peace.

Bob (Beaver) Blake became my Scoutmaster around 1971 or so and was for the next 3 years. He made more of an impression upon me than anyone except my father. Beaver was always contagiously cheerful, never intimidated by anyone, confident in himself and his abilties. I will never forget watching him do a lap at the Carrollton Pool, all underwater. What impressed me later was his continuing, genuine interest in what his little men from back then developed into. I have thought of him often...

WHAT A GREAT PERSONALITY YOUR DAD HAD. HE SO LOVED PEOPLE, LOVED TO LAUGH, AND NOW GOD HAS CALLED HIM HOME. GOD REST HIS SOUL AS HE IS HELD IN THE LORD'S HANDS. I'M HAPPY TO HAVE KNOWN AND WORKED WITH HIM AT MAC. ANGEL HUGS. JACKIE TATE, FORMER TEAM MATE

I am so happy to hear your Dad's long journey is over.
