Not sure what to say?

When I think of Bob, I see his smile, a gentle guy who always took the time to say "hello, how are you, what's going on with you?" And he really cared and listened. He was fun to talk to, to get to know. It's been about 7 years since I last saw him, and yes, he was smiling that day too. Now, he'll be smiling forever, and in all my thoughts of him from this day forward. You will be missed, Bob.

Papa,

You were always very caring and sweet to my sisters and I, you treated us as if we were your very own grandchildren. Holidays are not the same without you there. We love you and we will miss you. RIP Grandpa

Uncle Bob visiting brother Bill Blake in 2005 - proudly displaying Bill's painting of his beloved friend

I will be remembering Uncle Bob with love and fond memories today. What I remember most about Uncle Bob is his passion for life, family, and his beloved animals. I will miss him. I attached a photo of Uncle Bob proudly holding Bill Blake's painting of the beloved "Pyscho." I just know that Uncle Bob is smiling down on us and laughing with his dogs and cats!

Uncle Bob,
Although I may not have known you as well as others posting to this site, I do miss you and pray you’re in a better place.

I will continue to cherish the memories I do have of us together: attending a Red Sox versus Twins game in the 1960’s, feeding cattle and hogs with you during your visit to Nebraska in the 1970’s, and the family gatherings we enjoyed together in New England in the last decade.

Your smile and contagious laugh when telling stories about your...

bob was a great guy, we loved having come to our home in new hampshire, he was married to my aunt babara. we so enjoyed seeing him at the family functions even after they divorced. he was truly my uncle. he will be missed.

to my uncle bobby, i remember the fun times in your back yard in weymouth, the cookouts, the sleep overs you were more than an uncle you were a friend. And frienship is not something i give out lightly, you were trusted and held any confidence i gave you and trusted me with yours. We laughed together we cried together now i cry alone for my friend is gone.

Bob, my brother-in-law,

Always welcomed me with a smile giving me a feeling of belonging to the family.

We both shared love for animals and this mutual interest made us closer. I remember walking his dog, Psycho, and when he came to visit us in Georgia, he liked Bunny, my cat, welcoming her to sleep in his lap. The last time I saw Bob when we visited him in 2006, although he was having health problems and speaking was difficult, he looked at me and said “where’s Bunny.”...

My Kid Brother — BOB

Bob and I shared side-by-side twin beds for the first sixteen years of his life.

We were typical brothers always wrestling, griping, sharing and teaming up whenever the occasion demanded.

We joined St Mary’s Church and Bob was active in many Church functions but especially sports. There is no doubt that Bob was the “Athlete” of our family. When we would study cloud formations he would only see footballs, baseballs and hockey sticks.

We had a...

As my brother, I have loved Bob all of my life and I know that he loved me. I have many sweet memories of him - as a child he was my protector and as an adult he was there for me during some difficult times in my life. It has been especially heartwarming to hear from so many people of the way that they saw Bob and what they admired about him.

One of his friends just told me a couple of weeks ago that "He was such a kind and gentle person. Always a Gentleman.

Thanks to all...
