Not sure what to say?

Very saddened to hear of Coach Blakeley´s passing. He initiated the soccer program at Brockton High School in 1967 and was our coach during the 1967-68 seasons. He was a wonderful human being with lots of beautiful life stories and a passion for teaching and helping young athletes. Although I didn´t attend Brown University, I will always remember the wonderful admissions letter of recommendation he wrote on my behalf. May his memory be eternal. Art Terzakis, BHS class of 1969

Was saddened to hear of Mr. Blakeley´s passing. He was a terrific presence in Bridgewater during my youth, as well as being especially kind to my Mom during her years in the Bridgewater Public School System. He and his wife raised 4 amazing men who have carried on the Blakeley legacy. Condolences to all of them and their families.

Fast forward and I have had the pleasure of enjoying many Red Sox games together with him and my dad in Ft Myers. Just saw him in early December at a holiday gathering. Unfortunately we are out of town this week so I am unable to attend his...
