Not sure what to say?

Was a good uncle
After my father died in 1965 we became very close.

When my father and grandfather died we become quite close. He had a good sense of humor and gave me some good advice

I remember walking across the Reserve to get to your house when I was a kid.
I'll always remember Uncle Bob with his quick wit and his little grin (which was like Grandpa's). May we all hold our fond memories in our hearts.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Uncle Bob. I will miss him dearly. I remember walking the Preserve a few times with him, and had such an enjoyable time. Along with the holiday dinner we had. May you rest in Peace Uncle Bob.

I used to visit to check how he was doing. Plus as my father died when I was young, he was a male relative I could talk to. Felt not only did he like the visits, but it's good policy to drop in announced and check on the care the elderly are receiving. hope someday someone might visit me if I am in a home. Till the last few months was always witty. He kept up on world events. sometimes had the wisdom of history. History often repeats itself. We would talk of family, history,...

I feel very privileged to have known and spend time with him, he was always witty and nice, it was always a pleasure to talk to him, his knowledge about current events in sports and politics had no bounds. I'll miss him.

Carl:
I'm sorry to read of the passing of your dear uncle. I know you were very devoted to him. Sending you my sincere condolences.

I am so very sorry to learn of Uncle Bob's passing. He was the last of a generation. I enjoyed several nice visits with him 2 years ago while I was staying in the Kalamazoo area for a few months after my dad, Joe Anderson (Bob and Shirley's nephew) passed away.

I'm so sorry to hear that Uncle Bob has died. I wish that I could be there and, somehow, give you the support that he gave to me when my parents passed.
