Not sure what to say?

We knew Bobby well when we were on Grenada and St Vincent in the WI at St Georges University School Of Medicine he used to have meals with us very often. Always jolly and a clever chap. Alan and Jo Sparkes and we have x2 daughters who were both v young in the WI in the Caribbean back then, very sorry to hear of Bobby passing, he was a good friend to Alan, my husband Alan received his MD in NY City.

We are truly grateful and appreciative for Bob´s commitment and dedication to the Flint community in which he served as a police officer. Genesee County Law Enforcement Memorial Committee. Sincerely, Genesee County Law Enforcement Memorial Committee

I became friends with Bob at work and we became very close. We did fishing trips together and went to parties at his home. I was always blown away at just how he and his wife were just like us. Once we went all dressed up and he comes out barefoot in holy shirt. I loved that man. Will miss you so much pal. JJ.

I remember Bob from school days at Bendle and we grew up in the same neighborhood. And I am thankful he had such a rewarding life. Our prayers go up for his family for your loss.

I first met Bob when we were teenagers working at Hamadys in Burton. He was a very funny and warm person. It did not take long to make friends with Bob.
I have pleasant memories travelling around town in Bob's 1964 red Pontiac Bonneville with Mari, Don and a group of friends that hung out together. Time has a tendency for people to go their separate ways but I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. My condolences go out to Mari, Don and the rest of Bob's beloved family. Rest in peace...

My sincere condolences to the family of a really great guy. Odd how things evolve, just found a picture of Bob, circa 1971 in a typical Bob fashion. Beaded Necklace, Jonsee Hat, with a golf putter. Lots of memories, all good. R.I.P. Brother as this picture is being forwarded to you family.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Bloing Family. He had such a great personality. Glad to hear he became a Doctor. M. Darnell

Saddened to hear of Bob's passing. In 1969 we were hired by the Flint PD as members of a traffic enforcement group, but Bob had ambitions beyond a law enforcement career. And, while I couldn't understand his desire to become a doctor, I had to admire his drive to achieve his dream at an age when most of us had settled into what was comfortable and familiar. Rest in peace Bob, my condolences to your family.
