Davis, Robert "Bob" William, age 69, of Leesburg, Missouri, passed away  peacefully on April 5, 2025.


Bob was born on October 4, 1955, in St.  Louis, Missouri to John E. and Margaret Jane Geggie Davis. He was a loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.  


He graduated from Eureka Senior High School in 1974. Bob was a Junior Fire Fighter starting in 1972 with the Eureka Fire Protection District and in1975 became a full time Fire Fighter and EMT. He worked in fire prevention, representing the fire department as Smokey the Bear at all community events earning him the “Smokey Bear” nickname.


Bob was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Ellen Marie Davis-LaMar (David Trent Jr.), grandsons Dylan Davis, Colby LaMar, and Carson Trent. His brother William A. "Bill" and Annette Davis, his sister Joan E. and Jim McCarthy, a nephew John C. Davis, a niece Heather Connolly, cousins, and many friends.


Services:  A private family service will be held at a later date with interment at  Bethel Cemetery in Wildwood, Mo. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Supporting Heroes, P.O.
