BOIS, ROBERT  “BOB”– Of Flushing, age 75, died Monday, October 7, 2024 at McLaren-Flint.


Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Cliff Bira officiating.


Cremation to follow.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Big Brothers/Sisters of Flint.


Visitation 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.


Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on January 31, 1949, the son of Robert and Drusilla (Dockery) Bois.


He graduated from Flint Northern High School and then Western Michigan University.


He married Cynthia Naish in Dryden in 1978.


Robert was partner with his brother, Greg at Bois Insurance from 1978-2018.


He was very involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Crim, Optimist Club and the Boy Scouts.


He enjoyed golf; loved photography, car shows, spending time up North and gardening.


Most of all he loved spending time with friends and especially his family.


Surviving are wife, Cynthia;


children, Sarah (Bois) and husband Jerome Yono of Bloomfield;


special mention to Ryan and wife Sarah Barrett of Oxford and Matt Devernay of Flint;


3 grandchildren, Zach, Audrey and Drew;


brother, Greg and wife Sharon Bois of Flushing;


nephews, Bobby Bois, Matt Bois and Derek Nofz.

Rip Robert we were class mates at Northern High School

So sorry to come across this. My condolences to Cindy and Sarah and all of Bob´s family. I have not seen Bob in several years but he was always such a kind, nice man. The world is a little colder with him gone.
