1/23/2021 Thank you for reminding me of the passing of my dear friend, Robert Bolton. We were very close friends of many years. I miss our many meetings, having a cup of coffee and discussing things that affected our lives. He is dearly missed and I can never replace our friendship. Bob was a man who was good at any position he served. I enjoyed being around him as a coworker. He would have made an outstanding Chief of Police.

Just heard of Bob's passing from an old friend. I have many fond memories of him. First met him back in the early 1960's. He was always kind to all of us guys, who worked (or hung around) at Joe Purpura's - Pure Gas Station, on E. 116th & Farrington. His Dad (Art) was also a regular visitor there and great guy as well… Art helped me out several times - with one thing or another.
On occasion, Bobby would give one or two of us a "tour ride" in his CPD crusier near downtown. Years...
