Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all who knew Bob and were willing to share their stories. I hope the family members will find comfort and healing from hearing them. I think we all know Bob alittle better because of them.

Thanks for the memories.

Daughter-In-Law

Bob was an icon in the Nashville Television Photography community. Those of us who knew him know a chapter in Television News has closed. He was the king of spot news, and well respected by police and fire agencies across the state. We all tried to beat him to spot news stories, but never succeeded, he always managed to greet us with a smile, and ask, "Where you been?" His family should be proud, he made many friends, and I am glad to have known him, he is one of a kind, and will never be...

I worked many years with Bob as a fellow photo journalist. He was a friend and wonderful co-worker. His shoes will be difficult to fill.

Bob was a friend like no other for anything related to public safety. He always loved being around the "action." Don't you and Harry White be picking at each other now. We will miss you Bob.

Bob Bomar was a great guy, loved by all of us in the media when he was at channels 4 and 2. Back in those day, the Nashville media was a close-knit family, and though competitive, we enjoyed the company of each other. Bob was a great photographer, with a good eye and work ethic. He had a world of friends, and will be missed greatly.
