Sorry to hear of the passing of Robert. I never met him, but am one of the last remaining "Jenison" Borgerdings. My father was Peter, son of Cornelius Borgerding. Most likely we are related somehow. I think the West Michigan Borgerdings experienced a fork in the road at some point in the past, went in two different directions, with not much contact between the branches. Whatever the case, I'm sorry to hear of his death.
