Robert "Bob" Borkert

It´s been more than 20 years I met the Borkert family and I had a chance to live at their house for half a year as an exchange student from Hungary, Europe. They were much more than my hosts, Marsha was my American mother, Bob was my American father, Bobby was my American brother and Jeanny was my American sister. Jeanie and the Borkert Family, I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. It has been a long time since I have talked to you Jeanie, but I remember all the wonderful stories you would tell us about your loving father. He certainly has left you with a legacy of loving stories. May he rest in peace. I pray you find comfort in the Lord. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I've known Mr. Borket since I was a kid. I was very good friends with his son Bobby. He used to take us to the State Police rodeo every year. I admired him so much for what he did. It was so cool having such a motorcycle daredevil as my neighbor. I looked up to him so much. He and his wife, Marsha, supported me and Bobby when we started a band in their garage. I have so many wonderful memories with the family. He was a wonderful man. I send my sympathy to Marsha, Bobby and Jeanie.
