Not sure what to say?

Our son, Patrick was born at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset in 1992. He had TAVPC. He was 7 weeks premature and operated on by Dr. Parnell and cared for by Dr. Robert Boxer -- an intelligent, kind, dedicated man. Patrick will be 32 in July. Dr. Boxer was an excellent physician and my family and I will always be grateful. He is always in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember doc Dr. boxer from medical school at Columbia. Even then he was recognized as a genius but at the same time, a kind and compassionate man Those two together nowadays is very rare. I´m sure his patients still miss him terribly.

Just saw this - I know it´s been a long time but so very sorry Many years ago he performed surgery on a client in my care with Downs Syndrome - he was the only doctor who valued the length of her life rather than quality - and he gave her a long and full life A truly wonderful man - what a loss

Just learned of doctors death. I am so sorry, In 1982 he saved my infant daughter. I remember him as being a genuinely nice guy in addition to being an excellent physician. I cannot remember any of the doctors who came and went at that time but I do remember Dr boxer and will never forget what he did for us.

Mrs Boxer you don't know me but your husband took care of my son after he was born 33 years ago , my son was rushed to North Shore Hospital . Dr Boxer put my son in the icu for 2 weeks and then he was put on heart meds and water pills . Your husband was shocked that my sons 2 holes closed on their own as he grew up and he never needed surgery as my son was born with a VSD . Your husband was an amazing doctor. I am so sorry for your loss . I didn't know he passed away till now as my son...

So Mrs.Boxer,
I am pretty sure you will not remember me or my family.
BUT YOUR OTHER HALF performed his 1st heart surgery on ME!
I am 38 years old. Going into 39 soon, with a FABULUOS HEART, BECAUSE OF YOUR OTHER HALF!
I was born in N.Y., but my parents were not.

I AM SOOO SORRY, IT TOOK SO LONG TO REACH YOU!

But, YOUR HUSBAND WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE SWEETEST HUMAN ELEMENT TO ALL IN MY FAMILY!!!
MOSTLY me, nowdays. I WAS BLESSED AT 18 MONTHS! SO WERE...

I am so sorry about the passing of Dr. Boxer. I just looked him up wondering how after all these years how he was and I am saddened to see he has passed away. In 1990, my baby was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and Dr. Boxer explained everything to my husband and my family and myself about it. He was a very kind man and I am very sorry.

Dr Boxer you were a godsend to me and my family thanks to you and the great people at North Shore Hospital i was able to have kids thanks for fixing the hole in my heart

Dr. Boxer you are a man of many wonderful words. Thank you for being the doctor you were. I know my son Jordan and his whole family will never forget you. You will always put a smile on my face when I think of how comforting and reassuring you were throughout our difficult time. Jordan is now 24 years old and a handsome healthy young man thanks to you and Dr. Lacorte. Rest in peace. We love you
Fondly
Nola and Jordan Schwartz and family
