Bob was an icon. Many of us in the old days considered ourselves "Boyer-ites". He was always ahead of his time. Bob helped me make the transition from field sales in Detroit to Grand Rapids...after a particularly rough situation he pulled me aside and said "Walker you'll be ok,you just need to be house broken". Only Bob could say something like that and somehow have it make sense. I am a better person for having known him.
