I first meet Robert at AMP he was a true gentleman. Always smiling and would stop and have a quick chat before racing off to his next appointment.
Robert had such a fantastic personality.

Robert and I became friends at AMP only to find out after some years that our dads had worked closely together and that Robert had come to my home when we were both children. His kindness to me after my mother died and the subsequent generous contacts thereafter made him an important part of my post AMP years. I can only imagine how lost and sad "his girls" must be. My sincere wishes to you all.

The world has lost a true gentleman and will be a darker place without him. It was an honour to have had Robert as my boss, many years ago, and then later as a colleague elsewhere. A bright light blown out too soon.
