Robert E. Bradley Sr., 79, of Cumberland, passed away with his family by his side, Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Letourneau) Bradley. They were happily married for 58 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Doherty) Bradley. Bob retired as Deputy Chief of the Central Falls Police Department in 1983 after 23 years of service. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Chief Robert Bradley Jr. (Central Falls Fire Department) and his wife Michelle, Maureen Placido and her husband, Craig, Michael Bradley and his wife, Elizabeth, Richard Bradley and his wife, Taralyn, Patricia Mooney and her husband, David, and Steven Bradley; his sister, Patricia McGuire, and nine grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday at 10AM in Saint Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5-8PM in the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chapel at St. Antoine’s Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896, in memory of Bob, would be appreciated.
