Having just discovered this page today seeking to find out more about the status of Bob Bradley, I can only add that "Mr. Bradley" for whom I tried my best to run track, mainly the 440 and 880, never failed to surprise me later on, turning up in the basement of Fordham Roberts Hall housing office when I was a freshman there in Fall of `67 after graduating from McQ earlier that Spring, and took the time to catch up and advise me what to look for (and look out for in the South Bronx of Fordham...

Today, Christmas Day 2020, I was walking my dog on a suburban greenbelt in Westlake Village, California. I met a man who graduated from McQuaid in 1980. It is truly a small world. We shared reminiscences -- mine from 1961-1965, his from 1976-1980. Guess what came up in common? Mr. Bradley. RIP.

Mr Bradley was my favorite teacher at any level of education. He is largely responsible for me becoming a high school English teacher for 30 years, following a ten year US Navy career. I was a bit of a rebel like Holden Caulfield, but he never gave up on me. He never gave up on anyone.
Mr Bradley is also a saint, and there is no reason to wait on the Vatican to make it official.

Dick and I attended Bob's funeral mass on January 4. It was an overwhelming occasion.

I learned of Bob's passing through overhearing a conversation by 2 women in a grocery check out line. One said He was such a good man.
