Not sure what to say?

I OWE YOU SO MUCH, BOB. MY LIFE IS RICHER AND FULLER, THANKS TO YOU - I MISS YOU!

To the Brayfield family
I am very sorry to learn of Mr. Brayfield’s death, even at this late date, and wish to convey my condolences to his family. There was a lot going on in the world and in America when Mr. Brayfield was principal. His calm leadership and kind aspect helped students like me to hold tight to an idea of safety and even the adherence to what seemed the embodiment of what was America. 46 years later, Mr. Brayfield!’s example stands tall; it is society whose profile is...

My condolences to the Brayfield family. I was invited into their home to share a room with Jan my fall term 1970 at DeKalb High School after my family moved away, so I could remain. It was very gracious of the family but hard on Jan to have to share a room. Thank you!

Although I had never met Mr. Brayfield, I was very appreciative of a scholarship he and his foundation provided me over 20 years ago. A true advocate of education, he will be missed. Thank you Mr. Brayfield and I wish the family comfort.

Bob, so many of us owe you so much. You took a couple young tyros and made them accept responsibility and create the great team the school enjoyed. I love you and will miss you. I wish I could be there to share the stories and see your children. I am sorry I will not make it. But you are forever in my heart and grateful that you were my mentor and my friend. GOD LOVE YOU ROBERT BRAYFIELD!

To the Brayfield family, my heart aches for you. Mr. Brayfield was such a wonderful man, who gave so much to others. He was one of my favorite teachers at DHS. Sending prayers and blessings to you.

My condolences to Mr. Brayfield's family. He was my HS English teacher in the 1960s. He was a great teacher, one of the best. But what I remember most was how kind and considerate he was to all of us students. Know that he is remembered fondly.

Jan and Paul,
Sorry to hear about your father. I always respected him as a youth.
I remember him as an assistant principal and friend. I remember many good times with your family, dinners and fun sleep overs in the old neighborhood.
Blessings to you and yours!
