Bremer, Robert Eugene "Bob" Of Pewaukee, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 13, 2012, at the age of 49. Cherished son of Virginia (nee Zeidler) and the late Eugene. Beloved brother of Susan Bremer, Cathy (Kevin) Klein, Jeff (Sarah) Bremer and Beth (Joe) Schaefer. Wonderful uncle and friend of Michael, Katie and Jimmy Klein; Maddie and Benjamin Eugene Bremer; and Colton, Sam and Kennedy Schaefer. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Bob graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1981 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin where he graduated with honors in 1985. He briefly pursued a law degree at the University of Wisconsin and an MBA at the University of Minnesota. Bob worked at the Internal Revenue Service for nearly 20 years where he proudly served as a Federal Agent. Bob enjoyed golf, spending time with his family, going on family vacations, and attending his nieces and nephews games. He also loved reading about American history, especially Abraham Lincoln. He had a quick and clever wit and a photographic memory. Bob was the "go to" guy for jokes and answers to just about any question. Bob fought his lymphoma with uncommon strength, courage and bravery, and quietly persevered through endless setbacks while consistently maintaining hope and faith. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 18, 2012, from 3:30PM until the 7PM Vigil Service. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12130 West Center St., Wauwatosa, from 12PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30PM. Burial will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. A time of fellowship and food will follow the burial. Memorials to the Lymphoma Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society appreciated. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at Froedtert Hospital who cared for Bob with compassion and hope, many of whom developed a special bond with him. Bob and his best friend and father, Eugene, are now together once again.

Not sure what to say?

So sorry you had to leave us so soon. You were a great person, a great friend, a great golfer and a great revenue agent. You will be missed. Sorry I couldn't make your service, but I was out of town those days. Rest in peace.

Great memories came out of Brookfield East H.S. times. I hope your legacy passes on. May your family be comforted and feel blessed by the time you were here.

Always a joker at 'East, the world was a funnier place with Bob.

Rest in Peace, Bob. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around the Bremer family and give them comfort.

I am so sorry to hear the news. A wonderful man and a wonderful family. May he rest in peace. God Bless the Bremer family. With Love, Maureen

I always appreciated Bob's kindness, gentleness and quiet strength. I hope you are having fun with all good/God things on the other side, Bob! Thanks for YOU! Say hi to Mary Lou Meurer for me. :)

Rest in Peace Bob....truly a great person!

To the nicest guy from Brookfield East. Hey Buddy, Your friends have suffered with you in your struggle and we can be somewhat comforted to know you are finally at peace. Your family was a great source of pride and support for you and I will be praying for strength for them to carry on. We will all keep the fun memories of better times together as we remember a life that was too short.

May God Bless Bob in a special way, and may the Bremer Family find strength and beautiful memories in the arms of one another.
