Robert (I called him Bob) was a great mentor to me when I started my first job out of high school, as the meat department clean-up boy at the Food Basket on Waring Road. Bob was a big, easy-mannered guy who took an interest in steering me toward a career as a butcher. While that was not my career path, his tutelage served me greatly over these past 45 years. I have thought of Bob over the years, and I decided to search for him today to see how is doing. I am saddened to find that he...

Robert we never got around to go ride the waves .WE planned to go to the beach with our families and spend time talking about school. You left too soon amigo, save a place at the table ,I'll catch up with later, your school friend armando.

Nancy and Family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Even though your time with Robert was small the amount of love you shared made it larger than life. You are in our prayers. Love, Jeff and Carol Bender

It was a pleasure working with Robert over the years at Lucky and Albertsons. We worked together at Imperial Beach Lucky and at the college Lucky. Stepehanie and I went to school together You will be missed Robert. You were always fun to work with because of your attitude and fun ways.

I met Robert a few years ago when he sold me my first new car at Fuller Honda. It was mostly his friendly and caring personality that convinced my husband and me to buy the car. I am so sorry for your loss.

Nancy,
I will miss Robert very much. I worked with him at two Albertsons locations. The Lake Murray Store and the new Chula Vista Store. He will be greatly missed, he was a truly unselfish, caring and giving man. We use to talk about High School Football on our breaks.
My condolences,
