Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of your loss. I only met Bob a few times and I could tell that he was a very good person. James Heard

I met Bob in 1980, when I was 20 years old and he hired me to work in a club on Bouron and St. Louis. He was a true friend, always helpful, kind, hard working and very funny. He was full of love and loved life. He loved his family and had a kind word to say to all who met him. I'm glad I saw him a couple of years ago and he was the same wonderful Bob I remember. Elin Heard.

I loved my brother very much. He just had a zest for life, and always found unique ways to live it. He found his niche in the Quarter. He had a flair that was unequaled. Mama always said that he was her little "rascal". He wasn't the type of person to hold a 9 to 5, he had to do things his way. We will miss you always, Love, Your Sister, Jackie

My daddy was one of the greatest people I will ever meet. He has touched the lives of many and had a taste for life that was insatiable. I only hope that I can be half the. "man" my dad was and I will keep his memory alive with every breath i take and every move I make. He will never be forgotten and I am proud and honored to have had him here on Earth for 25 years of my life. Enjoy your massive French Quarter in the sky daddy, I love you!

This is his daughter Nicole Bridges. Thank you for all of your kind words. I miss my dad soooooooo much and my world if forever changed with out him in it. I was and will forever be a daddys girl. If you have any questions about my dad you can email me at [email protected]

God leads us to places we need to be. Thank you Bob, For the love, the direction and allowing me to be a part of your family. I am forever grateful.

Bobby was a great guy, always with a joke and a smile, always working hard with those who were hard to work with. His generosity was deep, but he would not be taken for a fool. I knew him as 'Rosecart Bobby' and he added to the flavor of the French Quarter with his own brand of humble flair. The guy always had stories, lots of stories, and he knew how to tell them! In my book about Hurricane Katrina, I mentioned him and hope in some small way that helps to memorialize a real New Orleans...

Valentines Day was always a big day for Bob. RIP

Bob you made my decade in New Orleans a true joy. I was blessed on the day that you and my dad struck up your intense friendship, and I am proud and honored that I could continue that tradition. Now you, and my dad, and Bandido Mickey, and Chicken Man, and all the rest are up in that big French Quarter pub in the sky. Can't wait to see you there and share in the victory. Your friend for life (and beyond) Lisa XXX OOO
