Not sure what to say?

Susan & Family, Jim & I are saddened to hear of Randall's passing. We send our love & condolences to you & the Bridwell family.

He was my professor I think my senior year at USC law school, Class of 1973. I see now he was only a handful of years older than me. I remember his passion for the course, one somehow related to maritime law as I recall for which he became so noted. I see now the explanation for all the books he assigned in that course. I am pleased to know he made teaching his career and to see his many other varied interests. His was a life well lived, one fondly to be remembered by family, students and...

So sorry to hear. Our children grew up together in Columbia and spent many happy hours at each other's houses. Many condolences to Susan, Philip, and Sarah Margaret. Jackie and Patton Adams

Professor Bridwell was my Civil Procedure professor in 1977. He had a keen wit and was a scholar. I remember on one occasion when he called on a student, who wasn't prepared (it may have been me). In response to the student's answers, he said, "Come on, with answers like that the only place you will end of practicing will be the Family Court in Aiken." The class erupted in laughter.

I first met Professor Bridwell when I requested an interview at the time I was applying to USC School of Law [in 1992], and he was one of the three professors on my panel. I later had him as a professor, and he was kind & learned. Professor Bridwell was a true gentleman. Sincere condolences to those who loved him and were loved by him.

So sorry, Susan. Love you.

Randall´s obituary was a beautiful tribute to the life he lived. I would describe him as a Renaissance Man, a loyal family man, a man of the law and a lover of the outdoors. His contributions to the legal profession are stellar. And he and Susan had a wonderful marriage over many years. Scott and I are thinking of all the Bridwell family members today and especially of Susan who has lost her marvelous life partner. Sincerely, Adelaide Wallinger

I am so sorry to hear of Randall´s passing. Deepest condolences to Susan and her family. Please know that you are in my thoughts.
