BRIGHT, ROBERT J. – Of Flint, age 69, died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Visitation 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on June 27, 1952, the son of the late Marshall and Virginia (Allison) Bright.
He loved going to the casino, enjoyed watching sports, especially Michigan sports, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions. Above all else he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Bright retired from GM.
Surviving are daughter, Mandi and husband Bill Cunningham;
son, David Bright;
grandchildren, Mason and wife Sarah Swart, Carson and Jackson Cunningham, Kayden and Kynsleigh Bright;
brothers, Daniel Bright, William "Denny" and wife Beverly Bright;
sister, Barbara and husband Robin Wheaton;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vaughn, Allen and Avon Bright; sister-in-law, Amanda Bright; nephews, Denny and Mike Bright.
