Not sure what to say?

He was my 6th grade teacher at Kennedy, I was just remembering about him so i J looked him up.... Didn´t know he passed away. :( Best teacher I´ve ever had. I am now 34 years old ....and I still remember him.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

June 16th, 2009

My sympathy to the entire Brinkerhoff family. Bob was and is one of the great guys in my memory bank.

I can't imagine a better tribute to a teacher than the one by Crystle Vina on these pages.
Henry Adams said, "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops."
You're not around anymore, Bob, but some of what you did with your life will go on....and on....and on.....

Bob was a mentor, colleague fellow sports buff, but most importantly, my friend.
One last time Bob, Go Niners!
I miss you already dear friend.

I was so sorry to hear about your loss. A great loss for all of us that he touched. I will always remember the days at Franklin McKinnley where Mr. Brinkerhoff always had a smiling face and words of encouragement. He always made you want to do better and believed in all of us that he taught. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mr. Brinkerhoff was my sixth grade teacher over at Kennedy in 1995 and he was one of the greatest. I read about his life story in the paper a few weeks ago and I wanted to write him a letter, I waited too long. Then I got a phone call from my mom and she said she read that he passed away. What a great loss for this world. What a great loss for the students who will never know him. I wanted to go to the services, but didnt get around to looking them up until right now. I waited too long for...

Our love and prayers are with your family now. We loved him and we love you.
