Not sure what to say?

Bob was my Godfather. A wonderful man of love and kindness and wisdom. Whenever he made a trip to Freeport, he was never too busy to stop by and check on me or call to offer advice. I credit him with my love of history and politics. Bob was proud but humbled. He was so fond of his boys and never shy of professing his love for his beloved wife Robin. My thoughts and prayers are with her and the boys.

Bob was a wonderful person, intelligent, warm and sincere. I had the privilege of working with him at the Secretary of State Seniors/Speakers Bureau. He will be truly missed.

Bob was a wonderful, kind, caring human being. I have worked for the House of Representatives for thirty-five years and of course, during those years I had many opportunities to talk with Bob. He was a gentleman, intelligent and humorous. It was my privilege to have known him.

I worked with Bob in the IL General Assembly. He stopped by my office frequently when he was a lobbyist. I also knew him as a State Representative. He was my Mother's age. Bob was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. He really loved his family and spoke of them often. His boys were a dream come true. He will be missed. My sympathy to Robin and his sons, Zack and Dane, and to Bob's family. Your Dad loved you very much! You were the light of his life.

I remember his being in the same wing of the Stratton Office Building back in 1975 during Session. Always a smile and a greeting for everyone. It was a pleasure knowing him. He will be missed. God Bless
