Not sure what to say?

We heard about him frequently and although I only met him once, I quickly discerned he was a determined, self-taught individual who loved learning. He obviously loved sharing his talents and knowledge, too. We celebrate with you the long and loving life he had within the family and beyond. My mother left us at age 98 last year, so we well know of the family's sorrow about such a loss, but also we know the peace of mind that comes knowing where that loved one now is being embraced.

Although I did not know Mr. Bruce, I have known his son, Steve, and see many similarities. Mr. Bruce obviously made a tremendious impact on all that knew him and his legacy will live on through those who were fortunate enough to have witnessed his extraordinary life, especially his family. It is my prayer that God bless and comfort you during this time of sorrow.

I did not know Mr. Bruce, but after reading his obituary, I feel that I got a marvelous glimpse into his life. What a lovely tribute your family has written to honor his life! I was quite moved reding it and thank you for sharing the detailed parts of his life. It appears he helped make the world a much better place, and quite a remarkable person. Your family is in my prayers as you endure this time of sorrow.

I did not know Bobby, however, I read this obituary and felt like I did. I just want to say I am sorry for your loss and truly see how much he was loved. He would be proud of this obituary that you wrote and I just wanted to Thank You for sharing these heartfelt words and thoughts on your loved one. You did a fantastic job and I could read the love and devotion you felt for him. May God bless you and comfort you~

Bobby was a kind person and he will be greatly missed by his church family.

Bobby was a wonderful neighbor, always full of kindness. We will miss his friendly smiles and his tomatoes. Our thoughts are with his wonderful family who spent so much time with him in his final days, it was a joy to see him surrounded by such love and to know he was able to spend his last days in his own home because of that love and care.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I know living 13 years of my life beside Rosie and Bobby and then enjoying and looking up to them in church -- my heart soul aches, but is happy and thankful to have had them in my life!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
