Not sure what to say?

I worked for Bob at the Bank for many years. His wonderful sense of humor had me smiling all the time. When I think about Bob, I always remember something he would say as he was leaving the office earlier than normal, "I came in late today so I need to leave early." He was a wonderful man and a good example to all. I feel blessed to have know him.

Bob was my friend, and my boss. He is responsible for all the good breaks I had when I worked for U. S. Bank. We had lunch from time to time after his retirement and he always had great advice that always worked well for me. When others at the bank got themselves in a great lather about the problems we faced, Bob listened and then suggested a solution in his calm way. That solution was usually adopted and always worked well. When Bob gave me my first wage increase as a newer bank...

Bob was the best boss I ever had, and there were some very good ones. He was intensely proud of Elaine and their family, setting a fine example for others to follow. His integrity was stellar as was his warmth and wit. Thank you, Bob, for having been uniquely you, and for the influence you have had on so many of us.

I was so young and new at US Bank in my career when I came to work in retail banking. Bob Brunmeier was an ICON. Someone to achieve to become. Someone to listen to. Even now, 37 years later and retired myself, I still think of Bob and some of the leadership moments I witnessed under his guidance as our senior leader. What a wonderful man.

I've known Bob for 62 years, as a friend, co-worker and recently as a neighbor . He was a great boss, even when I gave him a bad time. Recalling his slow and measured style of talk still puts a smile on my face. I attended his wedding and I still see Elaine often as she is a close neighbor - - I'll keep an eye on her for you Bob.

My last memory of Bob was when I visited him at Springridge several months after he was admitted. I reminisced with him for about 15 minutes but knew he did not recognize me. Then I said "well, I should leave now" and he responded by saying " I think that would be a good idea" He made me laugh and I knew at that time that was the Bob Brunmeier I worked with so many years. His sense of humor was legendary, always catching you off guard. Thanks, Bob, for making me laugh one last time with you....
