Not sure what to say?

I often think about Robert as I age on. Those early days in Prairie Village on W 75th St Terrace were truly wonderful! Robert was my best friend from 1954-1963, when my family moved to Lawrence. Those were very, very simple and innocent times. In most respects those days for youth were much better than today. I hope to be able to reminisce with Robert about our lives when my time is up (hope that is many years down the road ). Rest in peace my friend, see ya later ........ Rick

Dear Coly, Cara, Aaron, Paul, Anna and Kathleen: Vincent and I just learned today about Robert. We're so sorry to hear about it and want all of you to know if there's anything we can do, we will. Robert was a terrific guy - a loving husband and father and a great neighbor. Our love to you all.

I never thought I would be talking about a great friend of 55 years at this time. First of all my thoughts and prayers go out to Robert's family. I know what a great guy he was and that he was the best husband and father also. This is a great loss for a lot of people - he will be sorely missed. All we can do is cherish what happened the last 60 years and smile and laugh about all those wonderful times. He was one of the nicest men I ever knew.

Robert and I were best buddies dating...

Robert will always be remembered as as a man with a warm smile and sprite that made it so easy to approach him. I feel fortunate to have know him.

Aaron and family, very sorry to hear the news. You have our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to learn today about Robert's passing. We served on the board and as members together of the Jayhawk Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management in Lawrence. Robert's kindness and positive demeanor will be missed.
